What a summer it’s been!
Over the past few months, we’ve packed up Harry’s Soft Toys and taken our cuddly crew on the road, attending country fairs, steam fairs, charity events and family days across the South East.
As a small family-run business, we honestly didn’t quite know what to expect when we started attending these events. Would people stop and have a look? Would anyone actually buy anything? And, perhaps most importantly, would we manage to fit all those soft toys back into the car at the end of the day?!
Thankfully, we needn’t have worried.
We’ve been absolutely blown away by the number of people who stopped by our stand, had a chat, browsed through the mountains of soft toys and, of course, took a new cuddly friend home with them.
Seeing children trying to decide which toy to choose (sometimes a very serious decision!), watching their faces when they finally picked the one, and meeting so many lovely families has genuinely been one of the highlights of our year.
We also loved having the opportunity to tell more people about what makes our toys a little different. Our soft toys are made from 100% recycled plastic materials, so all that cuddly softness has a much more environmentally friendly story behind it.
A Huge Thank You ❤️
When you buy from a small business like ours, it really does make a difference.
Every toy bought from our stand, every order placed through our website, every person who follows us on social media and every recommendation to a friend or family member helps Harry’s Soft Toys continue to grow.
So, to everyone who visited us at an event this summer — whether you bought one toy, went home with an armful, stopped for a chat or simply had a browse — thank you.
And an especially big thank you to everyone who has gone on to visit our website or recommend Harry’s Soft Toys to somebody else. Your support means a huge amount to us
We’ve learnt a lot from our first summer out on the road, we’ve met some brilliant people and we’ve definitely discovered that you can fit considerably more soft toys into a car than you might think!
For now, the Gazebo has been packed away and our attention is turning towards the next big event in the Harry’s Soft Toys calendar…
We won’t say the C-word just yet. 🎄😉
Thank you for supporting our little business.
